Dragon’s Pearl Cruise is a traditional wooden junk with 11 cabins and 3 decks, featuring elegant and comfortable facilities and services. One of the most popular itineraries is the 2 days 1 night cruise, which includes the following highlights:
- Depart from Hanoi and drive to Ha Long International Harbor, where you will board the Dragon’s Pearl Cruise and enjoy a welcome drink and lunch.
- Cruise to Bai Tu Long Bay and admire the spectacular views of the bay and its islands.
- Visit Thien Canh Son Cave, one of the most beautiful and mysterious caves in the bay, where you can see stalactites, stalagmites, and colorful lights.
- Enjoy a barbecue dinner on the beach or on board, depending on the weather conditions.
- Spend the night on the cruise and enjoy some entertainment options such as squid fishing, karaoke, or board games.
- Wake up early and join a Tai Chi session on the sundeck or relax with a cup of tea or coffee.
- Visit Vung Vieng Fishing Village, where you can learn about the daily life of the local fishermen and their families. You can also take a bamboo boat or kayak around the village and see the floating houses, schools, and markets.
- Return to the cruise and have brunch while cruising back to Ha Long International Harbor.
- Transfer back to Hanoi and end your trip.
DAY 1: HA LONG INTERNATIONAL HARBOR – BAI TU LONG BAY – THIEN CANH SON CAVE
08:15 – 08:45: Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter
11:20 – 11:50: Arrive at Indochina Junk Office, take a rest at the Waiting Lounge before transferring to Cruise.
12:00 – 12:15: Go to the harbor by a buggy.
12:30 – 13:15: Welcome to Dragon’s Pearl Junk. The cruise begins with a welcome drink and safety briefing.
13:30 –15:00: Have lunch while cruising to magnificent Bai Tu Long Bay; admire the fascinating formations on the way.
15:15 – 15:40: Explore the well-hidden Thien Canh Son Cave.
15:45 – 18:00: Enjoy relaxing on a white sandy beach at Hon Co Island, or kayaking.
18:00 – 19:00: Back to junk for refreshing before having dinner on board.
20:00 – 21:00: Relax, enjoy fresh air & overnight on board.
DAY 2: VUNG VIENG FISHING VILLAGE – HA LONG INTERNATIONAL HARBOR
07:30 – 08:00: Morning view of Bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee. Have breakfast in the fresh air.
08:30 – 09:30: Visit Vung Vieng fishing village by a rustic rowboat, meet the local people, and pass through the floating school and fish farms.
10:00 : Check out of the cabin. Start cruising towards the harbor while an A La Carte is served.
11:30 – 12:00 : Disembark. Drive to Yen Duc village in Dong Trieu province.
13:00 – 13:45: Enjoy a water puppet show performed by local artists.
16:00: Arrive in Hanoi. Trip ends.
